The fourth graders have successfully finished the chapter on long division. We now move on to measurement. We will be having great fun measuring different objects in our classroom to the nearest inch, 1/2 inch, 1/4 inch, & 1/8 inch. We will also be measuring units of capacity with gallons, quarts, & pints. Tune in later to see some pictures of the kids in action.
The 5th graders are hard at work too. They are learning to add and subtract fractions with different denominators. They are closing in on the end of their chapter and will be having a test next week. Their next chapter is all about multiplying and dividing fractions.
